Learn more, do more: Youth Gathering in Mostar

Join us for an inspiring gathering within the ‘Youth Dialogue’ platform, scheduled to take place in our city on Friday, February 16, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM at the premises of the ‘Ambasada kulture Amplituda’ Association, located at Bulevar narodne revolucije 55.

The ‘Youth Dialogue’ is part of the Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD2), offering young people an opportunity to identify needs, challenges, and untapped potentials, collectively proposing initiatives to enhance the quality of life in our local community. This dialogue is not just an exchange of ideas; it is a step towards active involvement in shaping a better future. It serves as a space where youth express their views on needs and priorities, forming the basis for a public call for project submissions from civil society organizations addressing youth issues.

Building upon previously identified issues, ReLOaD2 has supported four youth projects within the program. At this event, we will become acquainted with these supported youth projects and provide an opportunity for young people to directly engage in their implementation.

An inspiring presentation of the projects awaits us, offering a chance to participate in the activities of these youth initiatives to be realized from February to July 2024 in the area of Mostar:

1. Association “Klub MOSTRIP” with the project “Educational Comic Workshops”
2. Mountain Biking Association “Mostar” with the project “Transformation for PET – Sustainable Furniture for Mostar”
3. Association “Ambasada kulture Amplituda Mostar” with the project “Development of Youth Creativity in Video Production”
4. Association for the Advancement of Urban Culture, Contemporary, and Public Art “Rezon” with the project “ARTevolution – Young Creators of Urban Vision”

In addition to learning more about the projects, we will have the honor of attending a motivational speech by Professor Kasim Tatić from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo. His stories of success, motivation, and the importance of active community participation will inspire us to turn our dreams into reality. The rest of the evening will be spent enjoying excellent entertainment and informal youth socializing with a musical journey by Master Chef, organized as part of ReLOaD2, a program funded by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the support of the City of Mostar.
