CSO Survey: Independent Evaluation of TACSO I-II-III

Since 2009, the European Union (EU) has supported Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the West Balkans and Turkey through three successive TACSO programs. These programs have aimed at building stronger democracies, improving accountability systems and ultimately achieving better, more inclusive, and sustainable economic and social development via empowering and building the capacities of CSOs.

In early 2023, the EU launched an evaluation of these programs to learn lessons for future assistance to CSOs in the region. An independent evaluation team has been established to collect information for the evaluation. The evaluation methodology includes documentary analysis, consultation with key informants, and consultation with CSOs involved in TACSO activities through focus group meetings and a questionnaire.

Filling out the questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes but will make an important
contribution to the evaluation. The collected data will be used anonymously. Information about your organization will only be collected for statistical purposes and will not be exclusively used by the evaluation team. The original, unprocessed data and questionnaires will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside the evaluation team.

The questionnaires are available in English, Macedonian, BSH, Turkish and Albanian languages.
